If you answered yes then the life of a birth or postnatal doula could be for you! I found my home in birth work in 2012 when my daughter was 3 and for me making a difference with amazing families has been the most rewarding work. In 2019, Maddie from Developing Doulas asked me to come on board as a Developing Doulas trainer and facilitator. It’s been an absolutely beautiful time running trainings all over the country and online. I have met some amazing people and it’s been so exciting to see them launch into the world of doula-ing.

I am so excited to be working with Maddie McMahon at Developing Doulas to provide doula training for new doulas.  I’m so passionate about the work birth-keepers do supporting families it’s such a big honour to be part of supporting a new generation of doulas into the community.

    Coming to a doula initiation (training) was, for me at least, a massive leap of faith, less about the nuts and bolts of professional development and more about an exploration of my own mothering story within the wider stories of birth that we share.
